group study

Today (finally!) a few of us stayed back in school to study. Yi Wen, Shirren, Chui Har, Shiang Leng and I went to the library after lunch and were talking and joking a bit before starting our group study. One of the first few questions was : how does a group study work?

Because, all of us, with the exception of Shiang Leng, have not done a proper group study before so we were really unsure of how this whole "group study helps you to study better" concept.

Before long, though, we were all sitting quietly, reading Nervous System and asking each other stuff. :)

Then, a thought came into my head: what if the Form 5s studying in the library went desperate for answers and decide to ask us form 6s? I mean, we're around 2 years their senior right? We're supposed to know the answer! And after I told the rest and we laughed about how paiseh we would be if we weren't able to give them an answer, true enough, Hilary asked me to go over to her table and she asked me to help her with an Add Math question.

Ahhh I tell you ahh I got quite kan cheong there ;). But it was something that I knew well in Form 5 and also something that us form 6s still have in our syllabus; so it was no prob;D haha. It was normal distribution btw.

Hmmm, even if now I am honestly not good in most subjects, it was a booster for me to continue doing what I do - even if arguably - best, ie study.

I hope the 2-week break won't break my momentum.
