When you said my mom always sound very tense the times when you overheard on the phone, it's true. It's new year's day and still the same, early morning shouting and arguing. I've gotten used to it. Unlike the early days when I used to be so concerned and possibly terrified.
This happens when one gets too jaded and the other, never growing up. Both sides start to never listen and it never stops.
Sometimes I think my brother tries to be more like a parent to me than a sibling. It's nice having an older brother.
