It's been some few fantastic days.

I went to the Training-the-Trainers Conference organised by Canaanland on Friday with IrisMelcAlexaAiLingAbelPsMalcolm where we had opportunities to meet many other youth leaders there and discuss together about certain issues present in the youth ministry like shortages of pastors and being equipped for the youths.

It was like, a buzzing place when it was discussion time, and at some times when it didn't just felt like some kiasu thing to do, (lol) it was good exposure to how a few other churches do their stuff, and how we all have very similar things to deal with. And it was like, good to hear from perspectives different from ours yet from people of the same..'job description'.

And then, on Saturday morning there was the Orang Asli trip, where there were a few unexpected things...seriously, a farm on the hill slope?? Seriously, a baby monkey pet?(I've always thought people didn't mean it literally...) So up we went, climbing on our knees, holding on to tree trunks, panting our heads off(or maybe it was just me) and then trying not to slip, shouting, "We're here already??" and the reply, "No there is more!". Just. Stop. Already.

Haha it wasn't that bad la but at that time it seemed that way....we must have looked like pure city kids by then. Anyway the time came where we were (finally) there and then I think we just cleared like, the middle part of the stretch of 'sloppy' land before most of us were resting in the midst of the smoke (oops, save our earth eh??) and enjoyed the scenery from there. The going down was much more fun than the climbing. Just slide down on our butt! Haha and get hit in the middle, oww.

And I have 'joined the ranks of the bitten', to quote MelC. ;P Nope no Edward Cullen, just plain ol' leech, *sigh*.

And the knee pain from two weeks ago came back. Is this what happens after the 18th birthday?

**TOMORROW! Orientation day in KDU.
